About Il Vespro
a way of life for the people of Menorca — a small island in the Mediterranean sea, made of stones and prehistoric caves and known for its hospitality.
Although Menorcans might live a bit secluded (as their island itself) we always love to welcome guests and strive to make them feel comfortable, enjoy our food and our idiosyncrasy.
Ever since 1986, when our family acquired this restaurant located right at the viewpoint of Cala Blanca central overlooking the bay, we try to embody these traditional influences when serving our homely dishes.
For the past years Juan, the son, is continuing the family legacy and leading the restaurant, sometimes with a few difficulties here and there but always with his heart in the kitchen.
